Fortunately it hasn't been temperature-sensitive so far (which is one reason why it's been so difficult to pin down which tooth on that nerve branch is the dud one), so I shouldn't be too restricted as long as I remember not to chew on that side. But this is a food-included membership rate, which is normally a good thing but may be a problem if the catering stuff are fond of crunchy things.

It could be worse. A friend and I did a road trip from Oregon to Boston the week before Worldcon last year. I developed a tooth abcess along the way. It's not nice being three time zones and several hours travelling time from your dentist when that happens. :-( At least this time I will have prescription strength codeine with me and it will have been Dealt With, so I know it won't actually get any worse.
