New Who series 3 on sale

How badly do I hate Amazon at the moment, I ask myself? Because this week they have Doctor Who - The Complete Series 3 Box Set [2005] on sale for thirty quid. Yes, there were a couple of rubbish episodes in third series, but it also has Blink, which is brilliant and was the first Who in decades to manage to give me nightmares, and it has the Master story arc, which is pure, unadulterated porn-for-fangirls. I *want* this set and right now it is cheap at The Evil Empire...

ETA: glitterboy1 apparently got the last *really* cheap set, because the price has just gone up to 36 quid...

Still over £50 at Sendit and Play. Though they're selling each of the four volumes at about £7, so you could buy the Master arc on its own.

I think I'm going to give in and buy the boxed set from Amazon. There were a couple of other episodes I really liked (the Shakespeare one was a hoot), so it's worth getting the series set.

Amazon have severely annoyed me in the last couple of months, but offers like that are too good not to point my friends at in case they want to take advantage of them.

And I just have! Thank you! It seems to be all too rare that these sets show up at a significant discount. (Or maybe they just sell like hotcakes, and I usually miss them!)

I got distracted and didn't actually follow through to the payment page until Glitterboy's post reminded me, at which point it had gone up to 36 quid. Which is still a lot cheaper than I've seen it recently, so I bought it anyway.

FWIW, Fry's (our local electronics megastore) had the first and second series for $70, when I checked yesterday. Sadly, they didn't seem to have the third series in yet.
