Back home again, and jet-lagged. Which means I was up at 5:30 this morning, unable to sleep any longer, and when I looked at my email I found the edits for Pulling Strings. (I swear my editor is a vampire, it's the only explanation for the emails that are sent at four in the morning...) So I've been very good and working my way through those this morning. It's a (long) novella and no major changes required, so I've got a fair chunk of it done already. This has gone a long way to stop me feeling guilty about the complete lack of progress on anything else over the last week.

Listen to the 4th track on Diva's CD. Some of them are rather so so, but track 4 really appeals and I think you might like the lyrics as well.

Nice singing voice - nothing outstanding, but pleasant to listen to.

Yes, Raven. :-) Though as noted above, she's not the only person I know who's in the habit of sending emails at 4 am local time...

I've almost finished the edits now -- there's one that needs a little more thinking about than the others, but after that I'm done and can send it back to her. With any luck that won't have introduced any new problems, but even if it has we should be able to get the next editing round done quickly.
