Where do *you* get your story ideas from?

I'm not sure who should be more worried about this, [livejournal.com profile] james_nicoll or my characters, but I've just been reading an old LJ post of his that made me think that I should go and put an extra scene in an earlier chapter just by way of pointing out that two of my characters haven't quite got the hang of this "of course we're perfectly normal humans, what makes you think we're shapeshifters!" lark yet.

"nude cooking". I think [livejournal.com profile] dougs is your expert on that one, (judging by [livejournal.com profile] scarlatti's photos... MInd you, even he wore an apron! There are certain things you really, really do not want to damage.

I've never had a problem with bacon--just use a long fork! "very little expericence cooking", however, would explain their difficulty. (I'm always puzzled by the things non-nudists think are problems.)
