Since I was pretty harsh about the cross-posted form "I'm sorry if you were offended" over the offensive ad, I'll note that I have since received an individual reply to the note I sent to the promo person. I'd be better pleased if it was a completely unambigious "I fucked up and the posting was offensive", but it's a *lot* closer to "I fucked up and the posting was offensive" than "I'm sorry if you were offended".

Ciao Jules. Do you know? Dante many century ago says "Non ti curar di loro ma guarda e passa", in english maybe you can translate "Don't care about them, but look and go on". Dante said these words about the "ignavi", that are those people who never take a position. Like those publishers who don't have the courage have their idea... if you can call them idea (idea means they have a function brain). ciao, elisa

I know. I'm only posting this because I do believe that the promo company simply didn't realise how that post would look to m/m fans; and since I posted about the non-apology it wouldn't be fair not to say that later they *did* respond to me personally with a much more apologetic reply.
