Well, you're a successful pimp, dearie - when I read your first post about the Dr Who 3rd season deal, I hied me directly to amazon.com, discovered the US amazon has the same deal, and bought it. *moan* there goes my budget for June already...

I know, I know... But I really wanted this set, and I've been waiting for a special offer, so I grabbed a set.

I didn't think to check the US Amazon. I should probably add that to my post, given the number of American Who fans on my flist.

Well, I'm sure there's Something Evil up there or out there watching my every move re: Dr. Who. Last night I was sitting peacefully in my living room, not bothering nobody, when with no prior hint it might happen - for the past 15 years! - my dining room ceiling decided to collapse. Whoosh - CRASH! I'd post a photo but it doesn't look like I have the option here.

Having a $500 deductible it will probably turn out that I get to pay for every cent of the repairs myself. I have a very slim margin this year, and $500 is right beyond it. So, with heavy heart and my Inner Child writhing in disappointment, I went to amazon today and cancelled my order for the Season 3 box set.

*sigh*
