more desperance updates

durham_rambler continues to update on Chaz in the comments thread at Chaz's LJ, as he doesn't have posting access to desperance.

Latest is that Chaz *will* have to have an operation to clean out the infection, and thus will be in hospital over the weekend (and possibly longer for follow-up treatment). Someone will be visiting him this evening, and there will be further updates later.
