DVD boxsets

I'm shopping for Other Half's birthday present. Fortunately the boxset I want to get him is on deep discount this week. I note in passing the following items which may be of interest to my flist:

The World At War 30th anniversary edition -- 35 pounds at both HMV and Amazon

Buffy The Vampire Slayer - The Complete DVD Collection -- 60 pounds at HMV and Amazon

The Herbs and Parsley Complete collection 9 pounds at Play.

Hammer House of Horror box set for 12 pounds at HMV. This is the entire run of the tv series as far as I can see -- no episode details in the formal description, but Gareth Thomas is mentioned in the list of actors, and one of the Amazon reviews mentions the episode in which Paul Darrow is one of the leads.

I bought the Buffy box set last time you posted about a sale at Amazon. I'm fairly sure it was cheaper then.

It probably was. The prices go up and down like a yo-yo, which is why I tend to simply wait until something I'm interested in drops to what I consider a reasonable price. I very nearly bought it this time to give to Himself for his birthday, but I *know* he wants the World at War set, as he was dropping unsubtle hints about it earlier this week. And I was already intending to get it for him, but had simply forgotten to keep an eye on it. Fortunately it's cheap this week. :-)
