Sat down to catch up on iplayer, saw the first three minutes of day 1 before the it started stuttering and complaining about insufficient bandwidth. Resigned to watch it in the weekend, had a glance at my Twitter feed, and had the big shock spoilered.
Oh, well. Since I haven't formed an opinion about that character (like most of the new expected audience), I won't let that stop me enjoying it, but it was a bit of a bummer.
I had to look up Johnson on Wikipedia. If the character's name has ever been mentioned, it obviously didn't register with me. I agree that she's excellent, as is Lois.
