Nanowrimo...
Nov. 2nd, 2010 09:08 pm...is not happening Chez Jones.
It never does anyway, on the grounds that a) I cannot physically do 50k in a month without wrecking my wrists, b) I don't need to prove to myself that I can finish a novel. My author page at Loose Id does nicely for that, thanks. But I was hoping to use it as an incentive to write something every day, in pursuit of finishing anything at all this year other than random blog posts. This, naturally, is why I have my second cold in the space of three weeks. I think I shall go and make a hot water bottle and a hot drink and curl up in bed with a nice fluffy book that does not require any great attention span.
I do want to write. Not least because my colleagues at the day job are currently providing me with far too much "I am using you all for material" temptation...
