...but could have done without the hike around the city centre to get to my bus route somewhere where I could be sure the buses were still running. :-(

I don't expect to find the office smashed up in the morning, we don't have lootables on view and we're too far off the beaten track for the main mob of looters to set fire to it as a diversion, but it could be interesting getting from bus to office tomorrow.

Don't try suggesting to me that the looters just need understanding...

...because I'm going to be walking over broken glass whichever way I try to get into work tomorrow morning. And looking at the reports of what they're smashing up, I may have been too optimistic about it not spreading as far as our street. The looters have managed to do more damage to the city centre than a major terrorist attack did back in 1996.
