Really, *really* cheap books, of likely interest to you lot, at least if you're in the UK (or Spain)...

Of particular interest to one or two of you - The Gladys Mitchell collection, 8 of the Mrs Bradley Mysteries for 9 pounds

Mary Stewart collection - 10 books, 5 pounds - 10 of her romantic suspense books, for a fiver plus shipping!
James Herriot collection - 8 books in slipcase, 9 pounds
Gollancz 50th anniversary fantasy collection - 8 books, 5 pounds
Lost classics collection - 10 novels from around the world, 4 pounds
Christopher Isherwood collection - 3 books, 3 pounds


Shipping's extra if your order's under 25 pounds, but very reasonable. Alas, shipping is via man with van network, and not Royal Mail, which means there's a potential problem of  "We're sorry you weren't in when our man dropped off this card without ringing the doorbell, please collect your parcel from our depot located somewhere completely inaccessible if you don't have a car, even if your lack of car is why you were using mail order in the first place. HAND." I've been in on previous orders, but shall have to see with this one whether the notes box on where to put the box out of sight works.

Oh dear! I seem to have ordered 52 books.

I think I may have had a bookpeople account in the dim and distant past with unused points. I wonder if it's worth trying to retrive them.

Yes, that happened to me around this time last year... This time I have managed to keep it to 29 books, although there may be another order going in as soon as I've confirmed that delivery is reliable.
