Oh yes. The Who episode on KTEH last night was the one with the "Ladies, your viewing figures just went up" scene.
Pity it got censored by the Powers That Be, but it was still enjoyable. :-)
Shallow, me?

Date: 2007-06-28 04:33 pm (UTC)In this case the original censorship was by the BBC -- the Who team filmed the scene, but were told by the higher-ups that they couldn't use it. Can't really see why, as I thought the scene as actually shown was rather more risque for drawing attention to the strategically posed prop in the full-frontal view than an unobstructed full rear view would have been.

Date: 2007-06-28 05:00 pm (UTC)It's been a bit odd for me, because this is the first time I've seen this season of Who, but I *did* see most of Torchwood when I was in the UK for Christmas/New Year. Jack's a lot darker in Torchwood -- now I can see why everyone was saying, "You want to see him when he was happy and bouncy, as well."

Date: 2007-06-29 01:04 am (UTC)If I come to Westercon this weekend, I'll bring it a long.
And - Torchwoood starts on SciFi Channel in September. Ken at KTEH would love to get it, but it'll probably be at least a year IF they can afford it and IF it's offered, because BBC America will have first refusal, of course.

Date: 2007-06-29 02:10 am (UTC)But anyway.
I won't worry overmuch, but you'll hopefully enjoy it sometime in the future one way or another. It's worth getting to eventually.
