Still getting the hang of this

I bought a couple of one month paid DW accounts and cloned two of my low/nil use LJ accounts (partly because it was one way to get around the problem with PayPal hanging when I tried to buy paid time for the main account). I didn't notice that I was still logged into one of the secondary accounts when I added a couple of people to my circle, which is why some of you have just been removed from that one and added to this username instead on the DW accounts. It's not that I don't love you any more. :-)

One of those low use accounts was bramble_jam, the one I set up specifically to post Torchwood fanfic to. I'll be using it to test the import function, all one posts that it has. I could conceivably write some more Torchwood fanfic to post to it in a blatant and shameless attempt to attract readers, but this weekend I should really get on with writing some of the commercial fiction.

Importing worked nicely on mine. And I'm now using DW rather than Semagic for cross-posting, as you can edit the other posts from DW, which didn't work with Semagic.

What I'm wondering is whether I can go on importing comments from LJ, to complete the mirror function - the instructions say that it imports all comments, which it does, but I'm guessing that if I do that on a regular basis it would only import the new comments, rather than repeating all the old ones? I'm hesitating slightly in case I'm wrong.

Barlow Moor Road completely patched up by this morning, I noticed. But the lady in the health food shop is very nervous now - as she said, if that bit of road could collapse just like that, how can she be confident about any other bit?
