They've been talking about season 3 of Torchwood for a while; RTD wants to make it and I imagine that with the ratings they pulled on series 2 there'll be no trouble getting the green light. But if they make it to a fourth season, the last episode could be... interesting.
I'd have been upset if they'd killed Ianto, and not just because I think Jack and Ianto are pretty together. But Owen has clearly been for the chop ever since he got zombified, it was just a matter of when and how; and much as I like Tosh as a character, she's clearly the most expendable member of the team in terms of character and plot dynamics.
Of course, there is the little matter of whether it is possible to kill Owen properly dead before the glove energy disperses, but I'll be annoyed if they try to bring him back as an energy creature without a *very* good excuse.
