I've had trouble making out the dialogue on the show in recent series. Some of the actors speak beautifully clearly, but others don't, and the often intrusive background music doesn't help. So a couple of years ago I started using subtitles. The snag with that is that following them makes it more likely that I will miss fleeting visual stuff.
