...where the!@#$%^&* has it put my add-ons? Where is my Chatzilla button? I am bereft of irc.lspace.org and I do not like it. I have managed to find where it put my LeetKey, of Chatzilla and FireFTP there is none.

I think I relocated everything essential after a few days, but my essentials aren't necessarily the same. It didn't help that LJ redesigned their navigation strip about the same time so I couldn't find anything there either.

Would you like some rhubarb, incidentally? I had to pick some this morning as the decorator came round to do the first coat on the new windowframes.

I've found a menu link to them, which helps, but I'd like my buttons back. I suppose I'll work it out eventually.

Rhubarb would be good. Dinner for two this evening? (I will be all alone, as Other Half is off on travels this afternoon).

NB: Skype is not yet installed. I may get to that tomorrow -- today is catching up on LJ and then installing Lotus.

Incidentally, do you want tickets for Garden Day on June 12, because Inmans had them the other day - I don't think I'm going to be able to go as I've been invited somewhere that day.

Normally I'd say yours, since the asthmatic isn't around, but I'm probably going to be so immersed in installing software that I may not notice the time. So I'm inclined to say that I'll host tonight.

Forget the add-ons. I'd be happy if the damn thing wouldn't crash five seconds after I start it. I gave up after 3 days. I'm now a happy Chrome user.

Chrome completely and utterly failing to do anything but crash at me after I installed it to try was the final straw that prompted me to do a full re-install. I'm fairly sure it was my Windows installation being flaky that was the problem, but I'm not trying to install Chrome again until I've got my standard kit on, working, and newly back up. Which is annoying because I had a specific use for it in mind. (Running an online presence for my mundane identity, firewalled from my fannish identity.)

FireFox is Bloody Annoying but stable so far.
