julesjonesLucky 13. I've just had a phone call from her father to say that she did indeed move to the sheltered accommodation this week, and so far is very pleased with it. She doesn't have net access yet, but there are plans to run a phone line to her room.
It occurs to me that a pack of stamps and envelopes might be a useful thing to include in the next parcel I send, just in case it takes a while to get the net access sorted out. And that I should have suggested to her father that he investigate the net access facilities in the local library. I expect she will have a library card as soon as she is capable of getting herself to the library without assistance.
