So far it's been the robins and blackbirds picking over the fine selection of dried leaves. Eventually it will get around to the blackbirds and magpies having a free and frank exchange of views about first dibs on the coco-fibre liners in the wall baskets, both sides keeping a wary eye out for the Food Ape[*], who is known to have Views on the ownership of said nest lining material.

Date: 2012-03-18 02:14 pm (UTC)I'm not feeling so charitable. The birds and I have shared my fruit, but last year they ate all the grapes, and white currents, and wine-berries and cherries, and had a good go at the raspberries and gooseberries.
