I shall join in the current fad for the annoying of one's blog readership by posting lines 7-14 from page 77 or 7 of the WIP. :-)

Here's an extract from page 7 of Circle of Glass (currently in first revision pass):

And here's a snippet from page 77 of Taxman (in progress as soon as my hands are working well enough again):

I will refrain from posting a similar snippet from L&M3 because it will only get Certain People excited about something they're not going to see even in first draft for at least a year. :->

I'm not convinced that this does an awful lot for anyone except those of us who have already seen the manuscripts in question...

It's very rare I have a work in progress that runs to seven pages, but for once I have:

ears. He pretended to be an actor.
- I've read that bit.
- Everyone has. Then I heard Mrs Hudson had been shot, but it was a trick to get me away. I came back and saw Sherlock up there...

You actually have a page 77 of L&M3? :) I'm sure it will be worth the wait, whenever that may be. And the snippets are certainly intriguing.
