Redemption update

Got in contact with hotel liaison, and should be able to get a hotel room at con rates on the day if there are any left. Current plan is to wait until Friday morning and decide then whether I'm fit for a con, and whether to go for one night or two. I doubt I'll be in a fit state to come down after work on Thursday evening, and I'm not expecting to stay for the dead dog party -- I think by then I'll need a night at home in my own bed.
