by my friend Daniel Fox. Now, he is indeed my friend, but it is not just my personal bias showing when I say that this ARC was breathtaking, in concepts, in story and in prose.
It's the second volume of three in a mediaeval Chinese inspired fantasy, and you can read my burblings about the first volume, Dragon In Chains, here. The second volume is every bit as good. It's officially out in February, but is already available for pre-order on Amazon US
