Windows 10, part 2

A brief report that I have successfully opened Lotus Word Pro, Approach and 123 files. I have not done anything in/with them, but I can report that they do open. I hope to report further at the weekend. Jacey, I didn't have to do any fiddling for this upgrade, it opened without any trouble; but I did originally have to do some fiddling to get it onto this machine as a clean install under Windows 8.1 - I've forgotten what Windows you're currently running. I think you'll be okay, but if you run into problems, take a look at my notes on installing to a new machine on Win 8.1.

Ours keep trying to tell us to upgrade, but we're studiously ignoring them, because we like out little Windows7 rut, we do.

You may find that you get upgraded whether you like it or not, unless you have it set to not allow *any* automatic updates. There was an episode last week where there were stealth forced upgrades of machines that allowed recommended routine updates to be installed automatically.
