Thanks. :-) I note with interest that you're due for a nice egoboost, what with the imminent arrival of the Mammoth trib copies and cheque. I tried hitting his slushpile last month with a couple of submissions, one of which was even vaguely specfic. Would definitely like to get into *that* anthology.
I believe that is the plan. It's certainly possible to get a decent editing and production job done in that time, although they don't have a huge margin for Things Going Wrong.
I note with interest that two of the three replies to this thread so far use the Cheshire Cat as an icon, and the other one uses Bagpuss characters. This probably says something about the sort of people I know...

Heh. If you wander over to my webpage (http://www.sff.net/people/beth-bernobich), you'll see I copied/sketched a number of the John Tenniel Alice illustrations. One of these days, I want unrust my drawing skills and add the animal jury scene for my Secret Diaries of Clueless Newbies page.
(And I'm still sorely disappointed that I can't go through the Looking Glass.)

Haven't got all the way through yet. Would like to see one where rasfc reader sees one too many threads mutate into politics, and goes postal...
