That's odd. Until this morning, The Syndicate 1 had one reader rating of good, and one of ok. Now it's got two of ok. What happened there? Can people withdraw or change a rating after making it? I suppose I could log in to my new account there and prod. No. Must resist urge to cat-vacuum...

That's *weird* - I've just skimmed the first 300 using the search function on my browser, and I can't find it. But it's there if I sort alphabetically by author. And it was released the same day as mine, so it's not likely to be just the effect of being bumped by another week's worth of new entries scooping the "last three weeks" sales. I can't see it dropping out of the rankings *that* fast...

it's ba-aaack... and it's also somehow managed to slither into the #10 spot for best-selling Harper COllins books (you can search by publisher...) which I'm boggled but very happy about

I can see we're going to be checking the rankings for another few weeks yet. :-) Mine's at number 3 for my publisher, but third out of 30 is a lot less impressive than tenth out of 900-odd. Still 14 on the erotica list, which is good - I imagine that the longer it stays on the front page the longer it will stay on the front page, as it were. When there are so few gay books in the erotica top 100, mine's going to do well as long as people can find it easily.
