Alas, it demands I sign in with a Yahoo ID. And I have one but am away from home and for some reason it will nto let me in on these computers - keeps saying invalid ID or password, neither of which is true.
The review sites typically require that you be a subscriber to be able to read their newsletters, although they don't usually require that you actually receive mail - you can be no-mail and just read things via the yahoogroup webpage if you like. I imagine it's because they sell ad space to authors and publishers, and making people subscribe to read lets them keep track of how many eyeballs they have to offer, in a way that's independently verified and visible to outsiders.
