I was offline yesterday because we were switching dsl supplier. Logged on this morning to find a notification that my silkie novel is a finalist in its category in the EPPIES, the contest for epublished books. I wasn't going to enter because I thought that no way would they go for an m/m romance, and I only put the book in because I got nagged by a couple of people...

Thanks. :-) I know m/m isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea, which is one of the reasons why I was so surprised to find that the book was a finalist.

But my publisher has a couple of m/f/f books, and has certainly signed some f/f books (not sure if any are out yet), so the f/f is getting out there as well now.

Thanks. :-) I love the cover, and I made sure to email the artist to thank her. I've got 8x6" prints of the covers from both the original book and the sequel sitting on my desk waiting to be signed right now, because I offered signed cover art prints as a prize at a promotional chat last night. And they're utterly gorgeous as large photographic prints.
