Ellen Datlow's another one who prefers Times, IIRC. Courier's the safe option if no preference is given, but if an editor says they want something else, they'll get it from me. I'd rather stand out by being the person who read the guidelines and followed them. :-) I've seen guidelines that say something along the lines of "Courier or Times or another _sensible_ font, in a size large enough to be kind to my eyes."
