Yes, I now have a Dreamwidth account. A free account right now, in spite of my attempts to give them money, because PayPal is not co-operating with said attempts. However, even the free account includes cross-posting to one other journal, so I shall now see if it will cross-post this to my LJ.

No, I am not about to abandon ship on LJ. I just want a DW account *as well*. Just in case...

That's roughly my position, too. I'm not going anywhere, but, if there's ever a need for a home-from-home - LJ downtime etc, Dreamwidth is looking like a good bet.

I've been sent a code so I shall create an account and then wonder what to do with it. At the very least it will stop me getting twitchy about my name.
