Having been assimilated by the evil that is MySpace, I suppose I should post an actual url:

No, I'm not planning on moving. As I said over there, there's a critical mass of my friends over here. Even if there is a mass decampment in response to The Great Strikeout, I can't see it being in the direction of MySpace. But I will cruise around every so often and add bi-blog people I know when I spot them.

if I could work out how, I'd send you a friend invite but I can't. I don't find MS at all easy to navigate and its help section is rubbish. I'm there under my real name (with no spaces).

I haven't got rid of the age/gender bit, but I have changed them to white text on a white background, which helps. Unfortunately it's still in their searchable database:-(

This code pasted into your "about me" will turn the relevant text white:

[style type="text/css"]
.text {color:white;}
[/style]

though you need to turn the square brackets into angle brackets first.
If your background is a colour other than white, you'll need to set it to that colour.

I'll see if I can find the instructions on how to dump some of the boxes, including the star sign thing.

As far as MySpace is concerned, I'm a 97-year-old man. Apparently this is a fairly popular option amongst the "none of your damned business" crowd.
