Yule excerpt and release date

This story's part of a set of eight called the Festival of Lights -- the series information has gone up on the lower half of the publisher's front page, where you can see the list of titles and authors, plus the short blurb for the first pair. Those two will be released on Dec 4, and as far as I know the stories will be released two per week, so you can work out when Yule will probably be out...

Oh god.. in my other incarnation I once wrote a sequence about Odin and got contacted by some Odinists from Barking (or possibly some Odinists who were barking). They were quite disappointed to find I didn't actually worship their sky pixie....

[snicker] There might be a tendency to leap with cries of joy upon anyone who looks as if they might share a non-mainstream belief. I suspect my semi-agnostic liberal Anglican self might be even more of a shock to some people reading that story than an atheist might be. Though with the current uproar, it's rather hard not to notice that some Anglicans aren't homophobic.
