I'm not giving a certain bunch of meatspace trolls the attention they crave by naming them. But it would appear that once again I have reason to post a link to my "stand up and be counted" rant about I'm a Christian, and I believe Christ's words about the Two Great Commandments are a good deal more important than cherry-picking Leviticus for excuses for hatred.

FWIW, I've just posted my first flame ever (in almost eleven years!) on afp, in response to such a troll.

I might be an atheist, but I can still be tolerant, forgiving and do my best to those Christian values I've incorporated into my own moral code.

I don't like fanatics, but I have a lot more respect and understanding for those with faith than those without, because the former define themselves by what they have, and the latter by what they lack.
