Went into Oxfam to pick up some dried bananas and chocolate, and had a shopping accident in the books section. The Persian Boy, Maurice and The Trials of Rumpole.
I already have a TBR mountain for the month, after failing to resist the hardback of the new Culture novel in Waterstones on Saturday, and this has not helped.

Date: 2008-01-29 08:45 am (UTC)UK books are now often printed locally to Australia, so they show up at the same time or soon after the UK release. Booktopia's listing it as published Feb, but whether that means they'll have it then, or just that they can order it then, I'm not sure. The price is pretty eye-watering, though -- the hardback's $50.
