I'd barely caught up with online stuff after Eastercon when I went away for the weekend again. Not only didn't have broadband, didn't have time or energy to deal with dialup, so I've just got back to four days' worth of Stuff. I'm not deliberately ignoring anyone...

Did you suffer withdrawal symptoms? :) I shudder to think about the several thousand emails I'd come home to if I didn't have access on the road.

I have stuff to email you, but my parents are coming for the first visit in 6 years and we are trying to 'parentify' the house. :) Much spazzing is ensuing...

I was too busy and too tired to have withdrawal symptoms. :-) But I do have a paragraph I need to add to the new bit of L&M, just to emphasise in Steven's POV how he feels about Mark -- I'll post that on the crit filter tomorrow once I've synched my Palm with the laptop.

I understand only too well how you feel about parentifying, as I am about to have exactly the same problem. One or two boxes of interesting items will be going to visit kalypso_v or supermouse for the duration, since we're currently in a small flat with nowhere to hide things...

You know, I hadn't even thought about putting away the evidence. This was just in reference to cleaning up the abode to the standards of a woman who dusts and vacuums her house every day. We have many many furries and I hate to vacuum... and we are pack rats and we have stuff everywhere. :) It's amazing how much more room there is all over, now that I have organized, packed and put away a million things. Do you think she'll notice all the Aphrodisia titles mixed in with the romance and SF? She gives me grief about my reading habits anyway, don't see how this could be worse. Now, certain other items... :) Thanks for making me think about that! he he

Yes, I fully expect to get the lecture on dusting and vacuuming every day. I just have an additional problem this time round. Amongst other things, l_prieto gave me some of her anime DVDs as a going away present when I moved back to the UK, and at least two of them have covers that leave *nothing* to the imagination. :-)

Does the "every day" refer to the frequency of the lecture or the frequency of the dusting and vacuuming? Either way, it's not a happy prospect. :(

It has been known to be both... I have to admit that I *am* something of a slob, so the nagging is not entirely unjustified.

The only reason I'm not as bad as that is that I now live with Other Half, who will not let me get that bad. :^)

I thought you were going to make a feeble effort at tidying up the paperwork now that it's a relatively quiet period? The Declutterer is coming, remember...

Yes, but I haven't actually had any time to do it, what with cats arriving, me going away four or five times, and assorted other distractions.
