I can has story skeleton

Okay, wrote out the bare bones outline for this Fragments fic this evening. I now have a file where I can drop in odd fragments of dialogue etc as they occur to me (which they were doing while I was busy doing the dishes this afternoon, for some reason). This means that the random snippets will now completely dry up, going on past form. I'm still not entirely convinced that fic will happen, because much though Torchwood pushes buttons for me, I'm finding that I have this horrible lurking fear of being Jossed. I only ever worked in one fandom last time round, and that one was safely dead at the time, so I *knew* that canon wasn't going to up and AU my story before I'd finished it. I also need to go and find out what a few bits of existing canon are, since I've not yet seen some of the first season episodes.

All three of my fandoms are closed (well okay, I have written memeish scraps in one or two nonclosed, but one of them I don't recognise anything past S5 anyway) so I empathise...

You're not likely to be Jossed for a long while, at least. I've got to admit I bashed out a couple of short TW things in response to the last two episodes, but the trouble is that it's hard to let go once you start :)
