How wrong of me is it that this drives me out of my fucking mind: "There is no specific theme, so just let your imagination run rapid." I'm in heavy editor mode right now, editing TWO books, but goddamn, shouldn't they be too?

It is slightly disconcerting, isn't it?

However, they did pay me on time when one of mine was selected for the 2005 edition, so I'll forgive them a certain amount of silliness. I'm just not sure if I can come up with a good story idea for that length range, or if it's even worth bothering -- they get inundated with submissions.
