julesjonesOne of the things I miss about living in California? That when I drop "to do later" bits like the following into a manuscript, I can no longer do some quick research by asking a mate down the pub later in the week:
[some geeky thing from NASA which Nikki has picked up through work contacts, that makes Steven squee like the engineer fanboy he is]
Because I used to drink with some of the NASA Ames rocket scientists, which is where this particular scene came from. :-) It'll probably get edited out as just too much of an in-joke thing, but in the meantime it's amusing me.
