kinky boots
Apr. 14th, 2009 09:11 pmI haz them. Or at least I haz them on order. Took myself off to Duo at lunchtime today, after
miladyinsanity suggested them in reply to my moaning about not being able to find boots that fit any more. I was measured, and then given several different pairs to try in pursuit of the perfect fit. Didn't get quite perfect, but found a style that was close enough to my foot shape that I might even not need to pad the side of the heel to make it fit properly. They didn't have my size combination in stock in my preferred colour, but a pair is now on order and should be delivered to the shop later this week.
Ravenna is actually an exceedingly sedate style, with low flat heels and no trim, but they do have faintly kinky boots as well. However, I think it would be slightly cheeky to try to claim the cost of a pair as research material on my tax return.

Date: 2009-04-14 08:51 pm (UTC)I was a bit sad that there was a style in the sales section that I liked even better, but which was no longer available in my size combination -- especially as it was reduced to 35 quid. :-) But there are at least two other styles in the current stock which I wouldn't mind trying, once I've been wearing the first pair long enough to be sure they suit me.
