small granddaughter loves things like metallic pencils, paperclips and that kind of stuff. Though they don't always get used in the expected manner!
My cousin (who had a selection of bits and bobs), asked me what Oswin would like best, and I picked out a set of coloured paperclips. They've been played with a lot, making bracelets and various little animals that go on adventures, etc. Nothing to do with actually clipping paper, you understand....
I don't know if you recall a green/gold pen, with a middle that wouldn't quite close, you passed onto me quite a few years ago. I've been using it for years, but last year, the middle suddenly decided to come together! Now it looks perfect.
