This won't mean much to the under-thirties, but -- found a CD with what sounds like at least a few of the tracks from the original cast recording of Ipi Tombi, not just the recent re-mix or re-recording that got bad reviews on Amazon (though at least one track isn't the original). The site I found it on has decent clips from most tracks, so you can try before you buy.

And some kind copyright-infringing soul has uploaded a few of the original cast tracks onto YouTube. Normally I'd mutter, but when you can't actually buy the thing legally because it's been out of print for years...
Although *this* looks as if it might be the real original cast recording, on CD. Or at least it has the original picture, and the tracks listed in the correct order:
