a brief note from the word mines

No, I'm not dead. I am writing. I have been writing at least 150 words a day now for 29 days straight, save for the day I was updating my website for the re-release of First Footer, and the day I had major computer upheaval (amongst other things, Norton took my computer hostage and wouldn't release it). Doesn't sound like a lot, but given that I was in zombie mode for a lot of it courtesy of a viral infection, I am entirely happy with the 8.5 kwords of Nice TieI got down as part of the OrgASM writing challenge.

800 words so far today, and I am about to down tools to go out for dinner, so I think that will be it for today. I may attempt to write some overdue book reviews tomorrow.
