Visitors finally went on Sunday evening, and I got in a whole 191 words on L&M3 before collapsing into bed.

Nothing for fiction on Monday and Tuesday, but I've been making notes for an essay post, and last night wrote the review of "Another Life", so I have at least been putting in 250 words a day on something constructive. Nothing tonight, because I got home late and have spent the evening putting together my 2009 book log summary, which was a useful thing to do but does not count as writing. (It mostly counts as copy-n-paste...) Going to be sensible and go to bed now, because at this point I'm tired enough to be starting a headache.

That's good going - a good start to the new year! I've been planning but not writing so far this year; if I can safely navigate the snow/ ice covered roads back home tonight I'll be aiming to get a section of a short story done before the horror of sub-zero dog walking duty.
