The Pulling Strings excerpt

I've had the necessary feedback now, and beta-reading and offers of same were much appreciated. It looks as if the excerpt works as long as there's some introductory material, and the cover text from the book is suitable setup, so I'm going to go ahead and submit the intro and excerpt as I sent it to the beta-readers. Whether it will get anywhere is another matter, but I think it's worth a go.

I had assumed the cover-text was a requirement of the submission or I would have also caveatesd that yes, as long as that intro stuff is included.

Just jumping on the bandwagon.

It wasn't an official requirement, but I'd put it in because *I* thought the excerpt needed setup, and that was the easiest way to do it. :-) Some people specifically mentioned it, but I assumed everyone was commenting on the bundle rather than the excerpt on its own.
