Just got back from watching the cricket. That was *quite* impressive....

On the way home, we had to stop for wildlife crossing the road. Three blocks from the high street, and there were a couple of raccoons strolling across the road. So yes, there are raccoons around here, and that's presumably what was responsible for last year's nocturnal tomato thefts. First time I've ever actually seen one.

Grrrr. Nope. As a South African, I was damn glad he DIDN'T get 5 in 5. Fantastic match tho' especially for a neutral supporter.

In fact some of of our friends seriously thought about going over for a few days. :-) But someone bought a subscription to the internet broadcast, so we've been watching it round at his place. Watching it as streaming video is pretty good, because we can watch the "live" broadcast at a convenient time for our time zone. And fast forward through the boring bits.

Highly amused at the way they had already long since decided who the man of the match was, not thinking that there could be anything in the last ten overs to change things...
