julesjonesIn Nottingham for a bit at $EMPLOYER's expense. Alas, expenses don't extend to paying the 15 quid a night the hotel wants for access to the intarwebs, so I am having to resort to camping on the local free wifi. Which is apparently abundant, but is not actually visible from within the hotel, so my online access is constrained to a quick blip after work on the one I can catch from the office, or wandering around and finding some restaurant that has functioning free wifi (which MacD's didn't in spite of advertising it, although they were deeply apologetic and I was going to eat there anyway).
You'd think that this would result in writing happening on account of lack of cat-vacuuming, but in fact I've had to stay off the keyboard in the evening to avoid RSI flare-up. Might get somewhere tomorrow, as intending to leave work early to meet up with a couple of friends for an hour or two. There will be more Wycliffe book reports, because the local branch of The Works has some titles I don't already have. :-)
