Wordage

It's just passed 20,000 words, and still has about 5,000 to go. If it still has 5,000 to go when it hits 25,000, I shall get annoyed...

This is why my editor laughs at me when I say she can't have something I'm thinking of writing because it's going to be a short story.

This is also the *real* reason why I'm mostly epublished. It's a lot easier to hit a target word range when the target word range is 20-110 kwords. :-) Can you imagine me trying to cope with Harlequin's guidelines, even if I had a sudden urge to write het?

I suppose it's better than the alternative, which is sitting down to write a novel and ending up with a short story... :P

Oh, and I haven't forgotten about the US tax stuff, it's just that I haven't had time to start on my tax return yet so have not dug out the info.
