julesjonesWoe is me, for I allowed myself to be distracted by things like authors behaving badly, fen behaving badly, and trying to get a day job. And thus it is evening on Shakespeare's birthday, and I have still not done my bit towards the first hit is free undermining Western Civilisation as we know it by giving away content instead of charging for it.
I may get to trawl my files this evening for stuff what is not currently in slushpiles or otherwise engaged, but I'm not sure I'll have time. I was planning to do a free story anyway as promo for a forthcoming sequel to an existing book, but it's not written yet and it has specific in-universe reasons why I want to post it in May, so will you take an IOU?
(And don't forget that there are short stories of mine already out there, free for the reading.)
