I got comments a couple of days ago on some posts linking to some of my old fanfic, which I had thought long forgotten by now. So I just ego-Googled my old fanfic pseud, and found a couple of German sf fans saying nice things last month about yet another story (the one that proves that even when I write something that *I* think is utterly gen, everyone else sees it as slash that happens not to mention sex). If I weren't still feeling the strain in my tendons, I might even think about putting one or two more old zine stories online[*]. Wouldn't actually get around to *doing* it, of course -- but I'd at least think about it.
*For the bewildered -- this was a fandom that started in the dead tree era, and I was one of the last holdouts. Very little of mine was published online.
