I got comments a couple of days ago on some posts linking to some of my old fanfic, which I had thought long forgotten by now. So I just ego-Googled my old fanfic pseud, and found a couple of German sf fans saying nice things last month about yet another story (the one that proves that even when I write something that *I* think is utterly gen, everyone else sees it as slash that happens not to mention sex). If I weren't still feeling the strain in my tendons, I might even think about putting one or two more old zine stories online[*]. Wouldn't actually get around to *doing* it, of course -- but I'd at least think about it.

*For the bewildered -- this was a fandom that started in the dead tree era, and I was one of the last holdouts. Very little of mine was published online.

Can't scan at the moment, since my zines are in storage until we get Somewhere Bigger. I've actually got all of my stories in electronic files (I think), as I did all of mine on computer, and usually saved them in plaintext format as well as the word processor native format -- but it's the draft versions.

No matter which way I do it, there's going to be a moderate amount of time involved. And given that I get a lot more feedback, and money as well, by writing new profic, guess which gets priority? :-) But when I feel a desperate urge to vacuum a cat...
