Gridlock in the city centre, on account of an infestation of politicians and their accompanying security requirements and media circus. I've spent nigh on an extra hour commuting today, and I left work early because I was feverish enough that I didn't want to be sitting on the bus in rush hour. Next week's going to be a nightmare, and I'm seriously considering taking the train rather than the bus even though it involves a much longer walk at each end. Except everyone else in my suburb has probably had the same bright idea...

And yes, definitely feverish, so I probably won't get much done this weekend other than making an attempt at catching up on paperwork. But my RSI is a lot better, so I might get round to doing some of the other stuff as well.

I used to live in NYC. It was bad enough when the President was in town but add that to one of the UN celebrations with other world leaders in town and the commute could be a nightmare. You have my sympathy on an awful commute

Isn't it wonderful when the politicians invade the city. I'd say a train is a good way to go, or a tram. Buses are really screwwed up...
