477 on Tuesday, 147 on Wednesday, and 123 tonight for a total length of 8880 words and the end of the third chapter. More words actually written, because I did some deleting tonight, and I'll probably do some more rewriting of the existing chunk. But the rough draft of the first three chapters is done, and has gone to my alpha reader for comment. Main plot element of this book is now revealed -- or to be more precise, the reader is beaten about the head with it, which is why I think it's probably going to need a bit of rewriting to make it a bit less OTT melodrama.
